We hired Rob for a corporate mixer in downtown Houston and he was the talk of the night. His magic was sophisticated, interactive, and completely blew our minds. He brought the room to life.
Rob literally added a magical touch to our wedding reception. Guests were raving all night. It felt like a luxury experience, not just a performance. Worth every penny.
I've seen magic before, but nothing like this. Rob's close-up work is on another level. Our guests are still trying to figure it out. 10/10 for private party entertainment.
You've just said your vows. Now you need 45–60 minutes of photos — and your guests are standing around, drinks in hand, waiting. It's the part of the wedding most couples don't think about until it's happening.
Close-up magic fills that gap in a way nothing else does. Your guests aren't watching a performance — they're in one. They're gasping, laughing, and bonding over something they just witnessed together. By the time you walk into the reception, the room is already alive.
I coordinate with your photographer, planner, and venue staff. You don't manage me — I manage myself.
Throughout the night, guests sign playing cards after witnessing a piece of magic performed just for them. By the end of the evening, you have a complete signed deck — every card a different guest, every signature attached to a moment they won't forget.
It's a modern guest book alternative and a tangible reminder of the night long after the flowers have faded.
I also perform a private moment for the two of you — something personal, just for you, before or after the reception.

Strolling close-up magic performed to small groups of guests during your cocktail hour. I move through the room while you're with your photographer — by the time you arrive, the room is already connected.
02
Table-to-table close-up illusions during dinner. I perform in small groups at each table, creating individual moments that give guests something to talk about for the rest of the night.

I'm based in Houston and perform across the city and surrounding areas — The Heights, River Oaks, Memorial, Midtown, Montrose, and the Museum District. I also regularly serve The Woodlands, Sugar Land, Katy, and Galveston.
For destination weddings, I'm available for Texas Hill Country, Austin, San Antonio, and nationwide travel with expenses covered.
Ranges from several hundred to several thousand depending on duration, guest count, and travel. Every wedding is different. Tell me your date, venue, and roughly how long you need me, and I'll send a clear quote.
As early as you can. Wedding dates — especially Saturdays in spring and fall — get booked far in advance, often a year or more out. Reach out as soon as you have a date in mind.
Primarily cocktail hour and table-to-table reception entertainment. I map my timing to your wedding timeline and coordinate with your planner so nothing overlaps with your key moments.
No. I exclusively perform strolling close-up magic at weddings — this keeps the spotlight on you rather than pulling everyone's attention to a stage. The magic happens in your guests' hands, at their tables, in their groups.

Almost none. Strolling magic happens right in your guests' hands — no stage, no setup, no special lighting required. If the venue has a cocktail hour space and a reception space, I can work both.
